WHEN WILL THE ROSES BLOOM ?

             I just missed Halley's Comet
             Streaking through the sky

The Blood Moon still awaits me
It will not pass me by
I sit in the May garden
             Beneath the blooming trees
             Just waiting for the Roses
             To bloom beside the sea
             I've never seen such beauty
             Beneath the stars and moon
             I glance upon the water
The surf just played a tune
             I wander to my bedroom
And look back at the garden
             While wistfully I wander
             When will the Roses bloom?
