                   THE BEAUTY OF MAY

On the fifth month of the year
I love to adore the rose bud
           Blooming in crimson red color
           Sprouting a gorgeous flower .

Free from falling cold winter snow,
Dawning dew dips - cool and slow
Hugging this rose - beaming aglow
With aroma oozing - high and low.

Soft petals of this rose blissful ly dance
Frolicking with buzzing bees in a trance,

           Birdies chirping their spiritual tunes
Making a scene fresh, vivid and anew.

           May's weather is not extreme,
           But elegantly mild and fair.
At the meadows, at the woods,
There's sweet fragrance in the air.
