A Glamourous Play

            Industrious, diligent,
            unhypocritical, loyal, fine

Just like cast-iron to the magnet, air
            to vacuum

            But woefully, abandoned again-
            whine I sans wine
Was it mirage, delusion, chimera or

            indefinite gloom?

Now by the boulevard, I scavenge
            for bread and butter

My promised life, my vision an
            illusion - a lost glimmer

The dog coat I wear stinks, fate
            turns either way
Lost I life, but won I awards in dog

            shows- life a play!
